Do not FAIL inspection because you bought the wrong Gas detectors!!!
NYS code (9.5.1.2) clearly indicate the following:
1 “ The alarm Must be labeled with the name of the manufacture”*
2 ” the alarm must be LISTED and LABELED with UL 1484 or UL 2075 “*
Look for the official confirmation!!!
Be careful of scams!!! Many Bad players companies will try to confuse the customers.
The following statements NOT pass LL157 Inspection or any UL testing:
" conforms* to UL STD 1484 " -it will fail inspection !!!! (This does not means that the gas detector pass the UL required test)
“ETL Listed to UL 1484 & UL 2034” - it will fail inspection !!!!.(This does not means that the gas detector pass the UL required test)
“Listed to UL1484” - it will fail inspection !!!!.(This does not means that the gas detector pass the UL required test)
“ Sensor listed to UL Std 2034”- it will fail inspection !!!!.(This does not means that the gas detector pass the UL required test)
" Meets New UL 1484" - it will fail inspection !!!!.(This does not means that the gas detector pass the UL required test)
